I think I must have just missed him. It looks like he arrived at Edinburgh around the time I left for Nottingham. Skimming his publication titles I'm guessing he was taking an argumentation approach. The work that generated this piece was (and is) heading in the direction of argumentation but for reasons we didn't take an argumentation based approach here.
